Trapped within a county lines drug gang, a vulnerable teenager finds escape by practicing tap dance wherever he can. But when his dreams start to take over his gangland responsibilities he's faced with a terrible choice.
Selected as a winner of the CHALLENGE ALEXA scheme in 2020 the film was made in association with Directors UK and ARRI with funding support from Genera. Tap Boy was shot in March 2020 and completed post production in Jan 2021. It is now on the festival circuit. .
